Andy Mus, senior vice president and head of the firm's investor relations practice, presented a session titled “Investor Communications in the Dodd-Frank Era.” The presentation marked the third successive year MarshComm has presented at the premier ABA conference for community bank investor relations. MarshComm also is a regular contributor to Value: The Community Bank Wall Street Report, a monthly ABA newsletter.

“The unknown impact of yet-to-be-written regulations of Dodd-Frank will make communications with stakeholders tricky moving forward, especially as it regards the executive compensation and whistleblower provisions,” said Mus. “Our presentation gives bankers a useful guide on how best to handle this unknown, with specific tips on how to manage their communications with key audiences in this new landscape.”

The ABA Community Bank Investor Conference was held March 2-3, 2011, at the New York Marriott Marquis.
