Marsh Communications Celebrates 5th Anniversary

September
marks the 5th anniversary of Marsh Communications. This is an
exciting time for us, not only because of what we have accomplished
since our founding, but also because of what the future holds
for us and our clients.
We
started out five years ago to use our writing talent and PR/investor
relations experience as the bedrock upon which to build a business
where we could use our skills to do great work for financial clients
over the course of decades.
Our
approach to business has remained unchanged since Day 1: View
every client relationship as a partnership, always providing the
best service and the best work possible to our clients, at reasonable
rates, helping them achieve their goals.
We
believe we’ve lived true to that approach during our first half
decade and that the results show it’s a formula that works well
for our clients. That’s why, more than ever, we look forward to
our next 5 years in business and beyond.
We
also believe we have been incredibly fortunate to work with some
of the best and most genuine people in the financial services
industry. To them and the more than 25 companies they represent,
we send a heartfelt Thank You and a fervent hope that our work
together into the future will help bring even greater mutual success.

Focus on Financial Communications
As
we move forward, we continue to hone our focus on financial services
communications (PR, investor relations, corporate and marketing
communications and the like – for banks and the companies that
work in their orbit). As such, we remain one of the only firms
in the Southeast with such a tight focus, and with two partners
with a combined 30+ years of experience doing what we do. We believe
our focus and experience allow us to deliver the very best financial
communications work to our clients.
During
the past five years, we have forged mutually successful partnerships
with clients ranging from regional banks, including Regions,
Fifth Third and RBC Centura,
to fast-growing community banks, including Appalachian
Bancshares, Southeastern Bank Financial Corp.,
North Atlanta National Bank and Community
Capital Bancshares, among others.
We
also have been tapped by non-bank Fortune 500 corporations like
FedEx and Assurant Solutions
for significant projects. And we continue to work with companies
that work with banks as their primary clientele, including Analytic
Innovations and U.S. Micro Corp.
The
25+ clients we have served have called on us for an increasingly
diverse range of IR/PR services and counsel – from writing earnings
releases and conference call scripts to planning, writing and
project managing annual reports. From writing entire corporate
brochures in a week to planning and executing press conferences
to announce strategic initiatives. (See the sidebar at right.)
The quality of the people
we work with, the variety of work we do for our clients, and the
constant striving to help them achieve their communications goals
